What is BigCoin?
BigCoin とは
BigCoin is a from-genesis independent blockchain that follows Bitcoin's economic rules (10-minute blocks, halving every 210,000 blocks, ~21M cap from mining) while sharing no network compatibility with Bitcoin: its own genesis block, network magic, ports, and address formats. The difficulty floor is set so that ordinary CPUs can mine.
BigCoin は、ビットコインの経済ルール(10分ブロック・21万ブロックごとの半減期・採掘上限約2,100万枚)を 引き継ぎつつ、ジェネシスブロックからビットコインとは完全に別のネットワークとして動く 独立チェーンです(独自のジェネシス・ネットワークマジック・ポート・アドレス形式)。 難易度の下限は一般的な CPU でも採掘できる水準に設定されています。
The Satoshi method
設計思想(サトシ・ナカモト方式)
- Fully disclosed founder reward — block 1 pays 1,000,000 BIG to the founder. It is verifiable on-chain, never hidden, and will never be sold to raise money.
- No premine sales — the developer does not sell coins to fund the project.
- No promises of value — BigCoin is not an investment product.
- Open source — anyone can mine, verify, and contribute.
- Participation is free and at your own risk — if you want BIG, mine it yourself.

Get started (Windows)
はじめかた (Windows)
- Download
BigCoin-win64.zipfrom Releases and extract it. - Run
bigcoin-qt.exe. On first launch, choose a data folder and copy the bundledbitcoin.confinto it (the official seed node is pre-configured). - Once synced, you can create a wallet, receive, and send — all from the GUI.
- Releases から
BigCoin-win64.zipをダウンロードして展開する。 bigcoin-qt.exeを起動する。初回はデータ保存先を選び、同梱のbitcoin.confをそのフォルダにコピーする(公式シードノード設定済み)。- 同期が終われば、ウォレット作成・受け取り・送金はすべて画面上でできます。
Mining
採掘(マイニング)
BigCoin uses the same Proof-of-Work as Bitcoin (SHA-256d), so standard Bitcoin mining software and hardware work as-is. The network is still small — solo mining is realistic. See the step-by-step guide: Solo mining guide.
